Watch Dragon Ball Episode 3 – The Nimbus Cloud of Roshi [English Dubbed]

During their journey to the sea, Goku and Bulma encounter a giant beast intent on eating the turtle. Goku quickly defeats the creature, and they continue on their way. When they reach shore, the turtle tells them to wait and soon returns with a man – the turtle hermit, Master Roshi.

To thank him for helping his turtle, Master Roshi rewards Goku with the Flying Nimbus, a magical cloud that only those with a pure heart can ride on. Goku easily climbs aboard, but Bulma, lacking the necessary purity, cannot. As a further token of gratitude, Roshi gives Bulma the Three-Star Ball (San Jing Qui), who is unaware of its significance.

After Roshi returns to his island, he finds Emperor Pilaf and his henchmen, Mai and Shu, searching his home for the Dragon Balls. Upon learning that Roshi has already given it, the three leave the island empty-handed.
